Yaca is a free-improvisation duo formed in early 2017 by musicians Rodrigo Montoya from São Paulo, Brazil, and Ignacio Moreno Fluxà from Santiago, Chile. Yaca's sound shows a convergence of the sonic roots of both musicians, combining
the experimental spirit of free improvisation with the ethereal
atmospheres of drone and ambient. The outcome is a meditative, cathartic
and minimalist sound that blends the best aspects of Rodrigo’s and
Ignacio’s bodies of work.
